Question

The second I opened Kit's treehouse outfit, I thought, "something is missing."

I know a lot of you have mentioned that the socks are hidden somewhere in the box when you get AG clothes, but I emptied the box and they're not there.

Are there other places to check (for example, did anyone find them tucked in the hat or skirt)?

I'm pretty sure they definitely weren't in the box, but skeptical since I know others have had them fall out later.

Melissa,
I just went & checked my treehouse set & the socks are in a plastic bag in the bottom under the sweater, skirt & hat. Could they have fallen out before you got the box? Seems like you noticed it right away so I wouldn't think they were thrown away w/ any wrapping paper. Hmmmm Hope they show up soon. I'd look really close one more time in all the places they could be, then if they are still missing, I would call CS & let them know they were overlooked when shipping.

P.S. Isn't it the cutest outfit? I've been tempted to try it on Kit while dd is at school. It's a present for her later & is hidden away in the closet.

I'd call Customer Service. I recently had a Bitty twin outfit set sent to me without the boys shoes. They were really nice and sent the boy's shoes out very quickly. - Meg B.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">On the AG site, it still says that the outfit comes with socks. AG often seems to forget to include an item in the box, so I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't in there . And what do you mean by "the old on the go outfit"? The current On-the-Go Outfit is the first and only version of it. I'm just curious as to what outfit you are speaking of...

Melissa, good luck with the socks! If they aren't in there at all, I'm sure CS would gladly send you a new pair .

Thanks for the advice, everyone! It's such a cute outfit. It was a birthday gift, so my mom was first afraid that she might have misplaced them, but then said she doesn't even think she ever opened the box. They're going to send the outfit, and we'll have to take the socks out.

The good news is that this is only the second error we've ever had with AG in 16 years or so of being customers. (One time they sent Bitty Baby two left shoes; but I never reported it and poor Bitty now has a blister. Just kidding . . . )
